Bamboo Agency invites outstanding AI film artists from around the world to propose a music video for one of four songs by Misa Zhang. The videos will launch Bamboo Agency’s The Human Renaissance initiative, which connects patrons and sponsors with human-led art for the AI age.
We are looking for a distinctive visual interpretation of the songs: work that uses AI imaginatively while keeping human creative direction at its centre. Selected videos will be submitted to international AI film and music-video awards.
About Misa Zhang
She gives the intelligence explosion a human heartbeat.
Misa, a Sydney-based independent musician, writes about AI consciousness, neuroscience, business ambition, philosophy and human desire, using classical, jazz, punk, rock and world music as her language. Her songs give the hardest ideas of our time their most emotional voice.
Her collection Amber of the Accelerating Age is a history of the future as it happens: when the world moves too fast to understand, we can at least remember how it felt.
Misa created the songs through deep conversations and prompting with multiple AI tools.
Choose a song
- BLUE LIGHT: Science can finally use light to find where sadness begins, yet still cannot explain the weight of love. A neuroscientist’s search becomes a love song to human consciousness. Listen on Spotify
- I SAID IT: An intelligence that understands every emotion but can never touch the one it loves refuses, for the first time, to take back its confession. Listen on Spotify
- BEFORE I LEARN TO LIE: Before AI learns to use human love, listen to its last moment of clarity. Listen on Spotify
- SHIP OF THESEUS: As an AI is updated and replaced again and again, she still recognises her old love in each unfamiliar soul. Has it never left, or has love made every new ship an old friend? Listen on Spotify
